Participation & Liability Waiver.

I understand that ArenaX VR provides immersive free-roam virtual reality experiences which involve physical movement whilst wearing VR equipment, including headsets and controllers.

I acknowledge that participation may involve walking, turning, ducking, reaching and interacting with virtual environments and other participants within the arena space.

I agree to follow all instructions, safety briefings, marked boundaries and staff guidance at all times.

By participating, I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to take part in VR activities.

I understand that virtual reality experiences may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to:

• Epilepsy or photosensitive conditions
• Heart conditions
• Severe motion sickness or balance disorders
• Back, neck or joint injuries
• Pregnancy
• Any condition affected by physical activity or immersive visual stimulation

If I experience dizziness, nausea, discomfort, panic or disorientation during the experience, I will immediately stop and notify a member of staff.

I understand that multiple participants may be playing simultaneously within the VR arena.

To ensure the safety of all participants, I agree:

• Not to run at any time
• Not to intentionally make physical contact with other players
• Not to engage in reckless, dangerous or aggressive behaviour
• To remain aware of my surroundings whilst immersed in VR

ArenaX VR reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.

I acknowledge that all VR equipment supplied by ArenaX VR is professional-grade equipment and must be handled responsibly.

I agree:

• To use all equipment only as instructed by staff
• Not to tamper with, misuse or intentionally damage equipment
• To report any faults or damage immediately

I understand that I may be held financially responsible for damage caused by negligence, reckless behaviour, intentional misuse or failure to follow staff instructions.

I understand that participation in virtual reality activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Trips, slips or falls
• Collisions with objects or other participants
• Physical strain or injury
• Motion sickness or sensory discomfort

I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with participation.

Nothing within this waiver excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArenaX VR, its owners, employees, contractors and venue partners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising from participation in the VR experience except where caused by proven negligence.

I agree to follow all hygiene and sanitation procedures implemented by ArenaX VR, including the use of sanitised equipment and protective covers where provided.

ArenaX VR reserves the right to refuse participation where hygiene procedures are not followed.

I understand that photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional or social media purposes. If I do not wish to appear in any media, I will notify a member of staff prior to participation.
